Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) announced it has established Turbine Services and Solutions, a new company dedicated to supporting its industrial customers. The company is built on the existing industrial business unit which has been based in the Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The launch of TS&S provides first of a kind support in the region and responds to the increasing demand for dedicated industrial turbine service facilities in the region.

ADAT’s Chairman and Mubadala’s Aerospace Executive Director, Homaid Al Shemmari, said, "The formation of Turbine Services & Solutions is a direct response to customer requirements for a dedicated world class industrial turbine facility in the region and comes at the right time as Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies continues to advance its growth strategy." Commenting on the launch, Turbine Services & Solutions CEO, Ahmed Al Moosa, said, "TS&S gives our industrial business the focus and autonomy needed to be even more competitive in the market today.

This change will give our customers a world class capability for the service and support of gas turbines and rotating equipment. We are very proud of the achievements leading up to this launch and have high hopes for the future." He added, "Although we are not new in the market, our new brand, strategy and ambitious plans aim to serve our customers better by providing them with complete solutions for their gas turbines, through building alliances with OEM’s and known service providers and by developing internal capabilities."

Based within the ADAT facility the company will provide complete Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aero derivative and light and heavy industrial gas turbines, execution of power plant projects and component repair for industrial turbines.
