Al Dhaheri added that, “ADU considers the Career Fair as an opportunity for both the students and participating organisations to communicate directly, and to give the students a chance to explore all the options available to them in the market, first hand. It is also to help them identify what needs to be done to become more suited to meet the employers’ needs and to match their personality with the right job description, and in order to secure an internship at any of these companies.”
He also added: “Specialists at the university inform students about how they can benefit from the Career Fair, especially in terms of communicating effectively with the employer, the different styles of writing a CV and other technical details, which will help them nail a suitable job.”
The two-day Career Fair held on 2nd and 3rd November 2010, will open to the public at 11 am on the first day and 10 am on the second day, closing at 6 pm. Day two will be open to only female students of ADU, to allow them a comfortable environment in pursuing their job search.
