The UAE Ministry of Energy in cooperation with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) is organizing a symposium next Sunday titled "Towards Preparing Power Scale in the UAE".
The symposium is being held under the patronage of Minister of Energy, Mohammed bin Dha’en Al Hamili at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan Rotana, Abu Dhabi, will have four working sessions including basics and importance of the energy scale, development of energy indicators in the UAE, preparation of statistics needed for the energy scale and display of multilevel power scales.
The energy scale aims to draw a detailed picture of the energy situation within the national economy by tracking the flows of energy starting from its primary sources until its final consumption, in addition to reducing the use of energy through suggesting policies that are capable of enhancing and rationalizing production, distribution and use of energy.
