FLASH Entertainment, the region’s premier live events company, has today launched Yas Island Show Weekends; a brand new series of world class concerts with global superstars and free events running across Yas Island.

Yas Island Show Weekends are set to attract visitors from across the region and beyond, as the Jonas Brothers, Nelly Furtado, Guns N’ Roses, Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2010 and NBA Jamfest Abu Dhabi all head to Yas Island for a month-long programme of entertainment, which is set to make Yas Island the ultimate weekend party destination.

The entertainment for each weekend has been carefully selected to reflect each headline artist and their respective audiences. Embracing and celebrating the artist, their tastes and their music genre, fans spending the weekend on Yas Island or just visiting for the day, will be able to enjoy a range of free events and activities designed to appeal to them.

Ossama Khoreibi, Chairman of FLASH Entertainment, was keen to point out the new Yas Island Show Weekends would firmly position Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island as one of the world’s premier entertainment and cultural destinations:

For Dubai residents, there will be a convenient and affordable transportation service available. A range of collection / drop off points will be available throughout Dubai with organized collection points across Yas Island. Details on this service will be announced in the coming weeks, with plans to have the transportation live and ready to use in time for the Nelly Furtado weekend.
