Engineer Fatima Obaid Al Jaber, chairwoman of the executive authority of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council thanked HH Sheikh Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women Union, Supreme Chairwoman for the Family Development Foundation for her trust and patronage of the council and the woman empowerment as well.

This came during the first meeting of the executive authority of the Abu Dhabi businesswomen council chaired by engineer Al Jaber in the presence of the authority members. Attending also were Mohammed Thani Al Romaithi, chairman of the UAE Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce of Industry and other officials.

Al Romaithi lauded the sponsorship of Sheikha Fatima, who is also an honorary chairwoman of the board of chambers, indicating that the board would do what it takes to support the council.

On her part, engineer Al Jaber said the council would set the strategies to empower women through support of the projects. She added that the council would also focus on resolving all impediments facing the projects of Emirati women in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
