Kitsch Cupcakes, Dubai’s first specialized cupcakes bar, announced today its latest expansion plans in the region. Kitsch will be opening the first fully fledged cupcakes bakery in Abu Dhabi just in time for Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Dalia Dogmoch, Co-Founder and Chief Baker, “Many of our customers drive all the way from Abu Dhabi for a Kitsch cupcake, so we decided to carry our concept and offer them convenience, it’s the least we could do.”

Abu Dhabi will now have its very own cupcake heaven with Kitsch launching at The Souk in Central Market on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr. Having been recently rated as the best tasting cupcakes in the UAE by 3-Star Michelin & Celebrity chef Marco-Pierre White, the freshly baked delicacies are all set to attract children and adults of all ages.
Racil Chalhoub, Co-Founder, Kitsch Cupcakes adds, “Abu Dhabi has always been part of our plans but we did not want to rush into it as you might have the perfect concept…but the right location is an absolute necessity when it comes to a unique concept like Kitsch”.

Kitsch will be offering the first 100 customers to its store in Abu Dhabi a special launch promotion. “The first 100 customers will benefit from a special promotion where we will be offering them a free cupcake for every cupcake they purchase,” reveals Dogmoch.

Last but not least, Kitsch’s customers no longer need to look at the back of their Kitsch Loyalty or Gift cards to find the bakery’s contact details; customers across the Emirates can now dial a dedicated Toll-Free line (800 Cupcake) whenever they crave cupcakes and have them delivered right to their doorstep! Co-founders Dalia Dogmoch and Racil Chalhoub introduced the Kitsch concept to Dubai in November 2008 after the huge success of the concept in Beirut, Lebanon. Kitsch currently offers 18 different variants of cupcakes in two different sizes, bites and regular. Giant cupcakes are also available based on customer requests.

Kitsch’s bakery is located on Jumeirah Beach Road in Dubai and the cupcakes are also available at Candylicious in Dubai Mall.
