The heat is on to take home the cup in ICLDC’s Ramadan Football Tournament, PLAY SPORTS. Live Healthily (August 26 2010). Eight teams will battle through the quarter-final matches (this evening, August 25) at the specially-constructed seven-a-side pitches at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Presently, the Group ‘A’ top scorers are Mubadala and Zayed Sports City, with Masdar and Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) left in the Group ‘B’ contest. Meanwhile, the Group ‘C’ crown is open to Abu Dhabi Media Company or Injazat as ENEC and SEHA vie for Group D’s top slot.

More than 750 spectators turned out to support the third night of the five-night tournament, which saw children joining players and organisers in a variety of interactive lifestyle-edutainment activities.
