The state-owned Radio Shanghai broadcast this morning a special program on the activities at the UAE pavilion, popularly known as the ’Dune’.
Themed around ’Better City Better Life’ the exhibition creates an opportunity for the participating countries to showcase their development. UAE’s amazing urban growth and steady development are effectively portrayed at the pavilion, opening for the world a window on the UAE and its dramatic growth.
Radio Shanghai said that the beauty of design of the pavilion is not confined to its symmetric form, but also lies in its reflective nature of its surroundings, which all help the visitors to have a realistic image of the UAE.
The Radio made special comment on the documentary movies screened at the pavilion, throwing light on the history, tradition, heritage and the development of UAE. The radio program also made special mention of the initiatives in the fields of environmental protection, clean energy and sustainable development.
