Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort (AWPR) is proud to be part of Summer in Abu Dhabi, the family carnival organized by ADTA to help Abu Dhabi residents and visitors enjoy the summer - outside and in.  From 23rd June - 4th August, AWPR is offering a fabulous promotion; children aged up to 12 years old will receive free admission when accompanied by a paying adult.

From exploring the wildest animals the park has to offer, through to admiring the birds of prey show to digging up the past of the Dinosaur Trail, visitors this summer can be assured of a great fun and great value night out with the whole family.

Currently open from 4pm until midnight on weekdays, and 10am to midnight on Fridays, the cooler evenings allow visitors to view animals in their summer evening routines, seeing indigenous animals such as Sand Gazelles, Sand cats and Arabian Oryx plus animals from deserts across the globe including White Lions, Rhinoceroses, Giraffes, Zebras, and others.

Furthermore, families can enjoy the UAE’s only outdoor cinema experience in a wildlife park, watching every Wednesday some of the world’s favorite animated films such as Madagascar 2, Ice Age 3, Bee Movie and Bolt, Dr Seuss, as well as Fantastic Mr Fox, The Ant Bully and Kung-Fu Panda. With shows starting at 8pm, visitors can settle onto picnic mats with snacks and drinks to enjoy an animal-themed movie.

Kids of all ages can get involved in more fun games and activities from face painting, hair braiding and henna painting to bouncy houses, character appearances, and live animal displays.

Evenings at Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort will also feature the bird show every day at 7:30 pm, while additional shows are available on Thursdays and Fridays at 9:00 pm. People can also enjoy watching animal feedings and listening to keeper talks. The Dinosaur Trail, with lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, is also open through to September 2010.

As a summer promotion, tickets will be priced at AED15 for Adults, while children up to 12 years old with an accompanying adult are granted free entrance and the promotion also extends to the Dinosaur Trail, with combination tickets for the Dinosaur Trail and Wildlife Park priced at AED 25 for adults, while children under 12 will receive free admission. Movie Nights is included in both entrance fees.
