The Cultural and Media Centre of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, will organize on Wednesday a lecture by H.E. Ambassador Hamad Ali Al Kaabi, UAE Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Special Representative for the International Nuclear Cooperation Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on: "United Arab Emirates’ Peaceful Nuclear Energy Project" at its conference hall in Abu Dhabi.
Al Kaabi will highlight UAE efforts since 2006 in assessing the development of a peaceful civilian nuclear energy program committing itself to complete operational transparency, highest standards of safety, security and non-proliferation, which made the UAE a laudable model at the global scene.
He will also shed light on his endeavors in undertaking the assessment in his capacity as main spokesperson in the matters related to nuclear energy and non-proliferation in the talks between the UAE government and international organizations and states, including the IAEA, the GCC, France, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
