The Department of Traffic and Patrols at Abu Dhabi Police discussed with the visiting Singaporean Police Force delegation, the training cooperation horizons and exchange of expertise in all the traffic domains, as well as activation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked earlier between the two sides.
The MoU includes exchange of information and cooperation in all police and traffic aspects.
Lt. General Colonel Khamis Ishaq Mohammed, deputy director of Abu Dhabi Police briefed the visiting delegation on the structural organisation of the department, ways of documenting and analysing the traffic accidents and their main causes.
They were also reviewed about the safety strategy of Abu Dhabi Police to curb the death toll and injuries, ensuing from the traffic accidents.
The Singaporean delegation’s visit, which started last Monday, will continue till June 11, to further acquaint with the key technologies employed by the Abu Dhabi traffic.
Present in the meeting were senior officials from both sides.
