During a visit to Al-Qadisia School for girls, HE Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) said that the exam environment indicated students were well-prepared and confident.
Students had studied hard in order to achieve excellence and to obtain high results that will help them achieve their goals. A total of 671 G12 students in literature and science sections sat for the Math exam at Al-Qadisia School yesterday, to include 503 students from Al-Qadisia school, 61 students from Emirates & Al Mashael Private Schools, 77 students from Al-Dana Adult Education Centre and 30 home education students.
Dr. Al-Khaili was accompanied by Mr. Mohammad Salem Al-Dhaheri, ADEC’s Executive Director of School Operations and Mrs. Suhaila Al-Mohairbi, the school principal. The delegation toured the exam venues, which provides testing facilities for students from private schools, adult education centres and home schooled students.
The tour included a visit to a special exam venue designed specifically for two special needs students with learning difficulties. Dr. Al-Khaili was assured that both students were completely comfortable and received all the required assistance and support.
“Students expressed that the exam levels were challenging, yet rewarding because it left them with a feeling of accomplishment. I wish the best of luck for each student on their upcoming exams and urge them to do their best in order to build a strong foundation for their future,” said Mr. Al-Dhaheri.
