National Geographic Abu Dhabi, the channel which invites viewers in the Middle East to re-think the way they see television, announced today that it is a finalist in two categories for the prestigious 2010 PromaxBDA Promotion and Marketing World Gold Awards.
National Geographic Abu Dhabi has been listed in the Best Promotional Items category for its 2010 recyclable calendar, and in the Best Sales Promotion (Collateral / Specialty) category for its launch sales kit.
“We are thrilled to be listed as a finalist in these two categories,” said Rohit D’silva, General Manager of National Geographic Abu Dhabi. “We are committed to developing innovative and effective marketing materials that reflect the creativity on our channel. We hope our successes so far will be recognized by the judges.”

The PromaxBDA Awards is the only competition dedicated to recognizing excellence in marketing, design, and creative content in the entertainment industry. The competition receives thousands of entries each year from around the globe.
Winners will be announced during the PromaxBDA awards ceremony in Los Angeles on 24 June, 2010.
