Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), welcomed the new amendments to the school calendar which deferred the commencement of the new school year to September 12 for teaching and administrative staff and September 15 for students.
He added that the new three-term school year which will be introduced as of next year is consistent with ADEC’s Strategic Plan and in line with the continuous coordination between Ministry of Education (MoE) and ADEC.
Dr. Al-Khaili pointed out that ADEC totally supports MoE’s plans and initiatives aiming at developing the education process for the best benefit of students.
