Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has launched its revamped corporate web-site – www.abudhabitourism.ae – to give greater support to its stakeholders with new services being transferred to e-processes.
“This is a much improved site in terms of useability and functionality with the design highlighting major upcoming events and growing opportunities across all tourism segments while simplifying service delivery,” explained ADTA’s Administration Director, Khaled Al Hashemi.
“Hotel trade licences, entertainment and exhibition permits can now be managed online while a new hotel revenue and tourism statistics application has been incorporated to streamline stakeholder communications.”
The site also offers an online version of ADTA’s quarterly stakeholder magazine Seyaha and provides access to an extensive range of destination marketing tools.
“The site is a valuable source of information about the authority’s burgeoning calendar of industry training programmes which features monthly sessions ranging from customer service workshops to digital marketing briefings,” added Al Hashemi.
“The site also allows potential colleagues to discover more about career vacancies within the authority and enables them to apply for relevant positions online for direct submission to ADTA’s human resource department.”
ADTA has reported a 24% increase in hits on the bi-lingual, English and Arabic, www.abudhabitourism.ae for the first quarter this year compared to the same period last year. From January-March this year the site received some 20,482,587 hits with users spending an average of three minutes and 23 seconds on the site.
The top markets from which users access the site are the UAE, USA, China, France, Singapore, Norway, Australia, Germany, the UK and Saudi Arabia. The most popular sections on the site are news, training, events and e-services.
