Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara Makes More than One Condé Nast Traveller Hot Lists 2010
(24 April 2010)

Less than six months since it opened, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, nestled in the magnificent dunes of the Liwa Desert, has been named in this year’s Condé Nast Traveller UK Hot List, Condé Nast Traveler USA ’Hot List’ and also the Spa ’Hot List’!

As one of the world’s premier travel magazines The Condé Nast Traveller Hot Lists are a definitive guide to the world’s hottest new hotels. Thousands of hotels around the globe are reviewed by Condé Nast Traveller correspondents, but just 66 hotels worldwide make it to the final list. The top hotels are chosen by the magazine’s editors and travel experts based on service, location, facilities, as well as ambience and design.

Condé Nast describes the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara as "an enormous magic-kingdom sand castle, sculpted into smooth towers and turrets peppered with torches and lanterns with outstanding desert views… ", which "… works as well for business-plus-activity group trips as it does for honeymooners or families".

Condé Nast Traveller also pays compliment to Anantara’s Thai-inspired conviviality which adds a pampering and personal touch in all 206 rooms, and among favourite trends from the Hot List are the in-room chocolates and dates at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara.

Commenting on its inclusion in the Condé Nast Traveller Hot List, the Resort’s General Manager Didier Tourneboeuf said, "Condé Nast Traveller Magazine has established a worldwide reputation for its opinions and recommendations. Being chosen for their Hot List is a proud achievement for us. It is even more valued when we have achieved this accolade in just six months since we opened".

Didier continued, "Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara offers a haven of tranquility away from the bustling and developing cities of the UAE and transports our guests to more traditional Bedouin times while at the same time offering modern day comforts".
