Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, with its Gary Player designed, 18-hole Saadiyat Beach Golf Course, has launched a number of tailored experience packages to cater for the whole family.

For men looking to take some time away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Thursday’s Lakke Manne Night from 4pm includes a nine-hole round of golf plus a burger afterwards for AED250 per guest or AED100 for passport holders.

For the ladies, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club - the Arabian Gulf’s first and only beachfront course - has launched the ‘Twi-Day’ special, which includes a full round of golf with a tee-off prior to noon, Sunday through Wednesday, for AED200 per person – a move Troon Golf, which manages Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, believes will be a great networking opportunity for women to get together and meet new friends.

And, as part of Saadiyat Beach Golf Club’s young golfer development programme, it will be hosting free-of-charge Junior Golf Clinics, Fridays and Saturdays from 5-6pm and 6-7pm, for kids to learn more about the game from the club’s top pros.

In addition, one child under the age of 16 can play free for each full paying adult during April, as part of the Club’s Twilight package.

“From the offset, we wanted to make Saadiyat Beach Golf Club an experience the whole family can enjoy. Through these individual packages, golf enthusiasts can try out the course, sharpen up their game and sample our extensive F&B offering whilst hopefully meeting new friends and catching up with current ones,” said DJ Flanders, General Manager, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club.

“In addition, our complimentary Junior Golf Clinics go along way to meeting our pledge of developing the emirate’s aspiring sporting youth. Through these clinics, and other key initiatives, we hope to encourage more sign up at the grass roots level.”

Already well established as Abu Dhabi’s latest world-class golf destination, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club is also looking to build on its credentials as one of the emirate’s leading F&B offerings.

To achieve this, the club recently opened the doors to its stunning Hawksbill Restaurant. Named after the protected turtle species that use Saadiyat Island as a hatching spot, the restaurant provides a truly unique dining experience and a refreshing alternative to the obligatory post-game venue for a quick bite.

Housed in the destination’s intimate Academy Building, the restaurant - with its comfortable indoor seating and sweeping terrace overlooking the rolling cascades of the Gary Player-designed course and its 120-yard wide, floodlight instruction area – is open daily from 6am-8pm.

Saadiyat Beach Golf Club is the flagship sports facility on Saadiyat Beach, a future magnet for high-end visitors and residents with its host of exclusive 5-star resorts that will create one of the world’s most premium and stylish destinations.

The amphitheatre-style Par 72 course, which will be capable of hosting a major tournament in the future, features several beach-front holes, in a course that weaves in and out of nine five-star hotels lining the beach.
