In another step towards the sporting event of the year in this region, OSN (Orbit Showtime Network) has announced a buffet of exclusive Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) programming enjoyment for fans.

OSN, the exclusive home of the Ultimate Fighting Championship®, announced today that it will offer its subscribers and fans of UFC® an extravaganza in the 12 days leading up to the showpiece event in Abu Dhabi on April 10th.

Starting today (March 29th) at 7pm (UAE time), viewers will have the chance to re-live UFC® 100 through to UFC®111 in preparation for UFC®112, which has two championship belts up for grabs.

In addition, viewers can feast on brand new episodes of UFC® Wired and UFC® Unleashed and on April 1st at 4:00am (UAE time), Fight Night 21 Live Florian v Gomi will be broadcast. This will be followed later that day by the Ultimate Fighter® Season 11 Premier, Team Ortiz vs Team Liddell at 9pm.

UFC® 112 Abu Dhabi will be the first ever UFC® event to be staged in the Middle East. Held on April 10th outside Ferrari World, Yas Island, it features one of the best fight cards outside of North America with two Championship belts up for grabs. Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva will be defending his Middleweight title against Demian Maia whilst BJ ‘The Prodigy’ Penn will put his belt on the line against number one contender Frankie Edgar for the Lightweight title.

UFC® 112 Abu Dhabi will be the first ever UFC® outdoor fight and will take place in a custom-built stadium outside Ferrari World, Yas Island. Tickets are selling fast with upper grandstand seats already sold out.

The 12,000 seat outdoor custom-built stadium, which will be constructed in just six weeks, will provide unforgettable views of all the action in the infamous OctagonTM.
