The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) along with Bonyan International Investment Group LLC , Invest AD, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2010 (ADIHEX), Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and the Al Wathba Stud Farm have come together to stage the world’s richest race meeting for Purebred Arabians in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, February 7.

Sunday’s race meeting at the turf track at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club includes the His Highness The President’s Cup, a Group 1 race which carries a total prize money of DH one million. A strong field of runners including last year’s winner Nirwan, owned by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance has entered the 2,200-metre race.

Sunday’s ADACH-supported top quality card also includes the Group 3 Al Ruwais race, a 1000-metre sprint in which last year’s Kahayla Classic winner Fryvolous, owned by the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan races along with nine other Purebred Arabian horses.

The Emirates Breeders Cup, a Prestige race for UAE-bred Purebred Arabians is also part of the meeting which makes it one of the most important in the racing calendar of Abu Dhabi.
