The Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, Masdar and Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management have signed an agreement for strategic partnership, which will open horizons of wider partnership initiatives, Masdar announced today.

The announcement came few days ahead of the Future energy summit due to be held in Abu Dhabi next week.

The French company will provide energy and renewable energy solutions for the Masdar City, the zero-carbon city under development in Abu Dhabi.

According to the agreement, Schneider Electric will build a research and development centre at the Masdar city, thus boosting the energy efficiency of buildings, cooling systems and data centres.
