Zayed Foundation and Ministry of Health have discussed possibilities of launching joint ventures in health sector of Northern Emirates.
HE Jabr Zaal Buflasa, Administration and Finance Manager, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and HE Nasser Khalifa Al-Budoor, the Assistant Undersecretary for International Relations and Health Affairs at the UAE’s Ministry of Health discussed the possibility of establishing joint health projects in the Northern Emirates.
They also reviewed ways of enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Zayed Foundation in addition to discussing the topics that serve the interests of humanity aims to provide health services as this considered to be one of the most important strategic objectives of Zayed foundation. This will be implemented through the establishment of health centers providing medical examination, treatment, emergency and first aid services and also providing treatment and medicines for chronic diseases including diabetes and cancer.
Jabr Zaal Buflasa during the meeting highlighted the Keenness of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Zayed Foundation, to build strategic partnerships with the federal ministries and government bodies to cooperate in the areas of humanitarian work.
The two sides discussed the possibility of establishing health centers that will provide medical services to people with special needs, the elderly and the disabled. Moreover, both parties indicated their desire to sign a memorandum of understanding with a view to set out a cooperation framework and the formation of joint committees in specialized areas to follow up the work of establishing various health projects.
The two sides agreed to form a specialized technical team from both sides to pay site visits to the areas in the Northern Emirates where health centers and clinics need to be build.
