Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, minister of higher education and scientific research, UAE University will host between January 4 and 8 the first international conference on major health problems.
Leading world scientists, UAE researchers and doctors will participate in the conference.
The conference will be held under the theme ’’World Health and UAE’’.
’’UAE University welcomes the participants and is happy to host the conference since our first role as a university is to encourage scientific research for the interest of the people of UAE,’’ Dr Abdullah Al Khanbashi, the University’s Vice Chancellor said.
He added that the conference aims at benefitting from the scientific leap that was achieved in this field.
During the conference, Dr Oliver Harisson, director of Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD) will highlight the medical achievements made by HAAD in this field.
The conference will be attended by senior medical and research officials.
