Training & Continuing Education Center to teach Human Resource Management & Executive Management to 100 male & female nationals

ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, recently signed a ‘TOMOOH’ (‘Aspirations’) training agreement with the Office of H.H. Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed, the representative of H.H. the President of the UAE, reflecting the continued cooperation between the two parties. Under the terms of the agreement, ALHOSN’s Training and Continuing Education Center (TCEC) will deliver a programme covering the areas of human resource and executive management intended for key staff involved in these fields.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Al Mazrui, Chairman of the Office of H.H. the representative of the President of the UAE, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Sabouni, Vice Chancellor of ALHOSN University during a simple ceremony attended by a number of officials from both sides. Training will be delivered by highly-qualified professors with the necessary competency and specialization to ensure excellence among trainees and to develop the program to the highest scientific and technical levels. TCEC, the training facilitator, offers a variety of programs covering media, public relations, managerial and educational programs, ICT, technology, and English languages, among others. Sessions are scheduled according to trainee availability and convenience and can be set even on weekends.

TCEC has forged contracts and agreements with companies, official and private bodies on the implementation of the program either in-house or in ALHOSN University itself. School officials welcomed the agreement as an opportunity to be at the forefront of institutions meeting the needs of the community.

Dr. Hassan Younis al-Samerrai, Director of ALHOSN’s Training and Continuing Education Centre, said: “In response to global developments, labor market requirements and the need for a new-generation of adaptable workers with the scientific and technical skills to keep pace with scientific and practical developments, a specialized and promising program has been developed which includes human resource and executive management. It has been prepared according to international training and development standards and will involve the granting of professional training certificates. The program will deliver administrative, technical, professional, cultural and organizational content four hours a day over four months,”

“This initiative was created specifically for those entering the human resource and executive management fields, professionals, and newly-appointed managers. It is available to all individuals, institutions, government departments, organizations and civil society organizations,” he added.

“We commend the eagerness of the representative of the Office of the President and his full support for the training and development of locals. This agreement will be important to helping nationals manage the tasks entrusted to them efficiently and effectively. We look forward to working more closely with ALHOSN in developing the workforce and meeting the needs of society,” concluded Eng. Al Mazrui.
