4D Imaging Technology At Obaidullah Hospital In Ras Al Khaimah Saves A Woman In Her 30s From Paralysis

Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, affiliated with Emirates Health Services, has achieved a significant medical breakthrough by saving a woman in her 30s from the risk of paralysis. The hospital’s cardiology team successfully intervened to save a 33-year-old woman from complications related to heart muscle weakness, which could have led to paralysis or disability.

Specifically, a woman in her 30s arrived at the hospital with symptoms consistent with heart muscle weakness. Due to the quick response of the medical team and the use of the latest advanced technology, specifically 4D imaging, the examinations confirmed the initial diagnosis, revealing a serious threat to the patient's life caused by complications of heart muscle weakness which led the team immediately and successfully manage the case.

Dr. Yousef Altair, Director of Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospitalin Ras Al Khaimah, emphasized that this achievement bolsters the hospital’s position as a leading center for cardiac care. Dr. Shadi Hamouda, Head of the Cardiology Department at Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital, explained that the symptoms reported by the patient were consistent with heart muscle weakness. A detailed examination using advanced 4D imaging technology confirmed the accuracy of the initial diagnosis, identifying a significant threat to the patient’s life. Based on this, she was immediately administered the appropriate treatment.

Dr. Hamouda highlighted that the prompt intervention, use of the latest medical technologies, and continuous, precise monitoring of the patient’s condition contributed to saving her life. The symptoms gradually subsided, and her condition significantly improved. He noted that these efforts were successful in preventing any serious clots or blockages caused by heart muscle weakness that could have resulted in paralysis or disability.
