The Middle East edition of IPA, the world food processing, packaging equipment and services exhibition has become the latest event to join the growing list of new exhibitions which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in 2010.
IPA Middle East will take place 15 - 17 November 2010 and will run alongside SIAL Middle East. Together the two shows will offer a dedicated platform for the entire food industry, from food processing to finished products, bringing together professionals involved in buying and selling food products and services, and innovative, high–performance, food packaging equipment.
IPA, “a must-attend-event” for all processing technologies, was created in 1968. Held every two years in Paris, it attracts more than 18,000 visitors from 105 countries who come to meet over 600 exhibitors from 29 countries.
The launch of IPA Middle East reinforces its international standing, already reflected by 48% of IPA exhibitors and 28% of IPA visitors, and allows participants to be involved in an increasingly strong market.
“The food marketplace is changing rapidly and there is a need to keep track of evolving industry trends and innovations. We look forward to introducing our brand to the Middle East, at this event in Abu Dhabi, as the region is one of the most buoyant markets worldwide,” says Bernard Becker, Chairman of Comexposium, the organisers of IPA.
IPA Middle East will be run by Turret Middle East, one of the leading exhibition organisers in the region. “Turret is pleased to partner with Comexposium to launch IPA Middle East which will take place in parallel with SIAL Middle East,” says Richard Hease, Chairman of Turret Middle East.
Turret will use this specialised network and knowledge to address the needs of the Middle East industry, and take a new approach to marrying buyers and sellers in the region.
Manufacturers and distributors of food processing, packaging equipment and food services will be invited to participate in a strategic and highly focused event, a first of its kind in the region, where selected buyers will be hosted as guests of IPA Middle East.
