Etisalat will sponsor Brain Hunt 2009, an inter-school quiz challenge beginning next week and will see the participation of 54 Indian schools from across the United Arab Emirates.
Commenting at the launch of quiz contest Haitham Al Kharusi, Vice President of Marketing Marketing Communications at Etisalat said: "As a responsible corporate citizen, Etisalat fully recognizes the need for the corporate sector to encourage various programmes and initiatives that contribute to the society’s benefit on several levels. Extending our support to the Brain Hunt quiz show serves as an excellent opportunity to help in tapping into the potential of talented youngsters in the UAE." "Etisalat has always been keen on reaching out to our vast customer base from the Indian community residing in the UAE by way of continuously sponsoring and supporting various Indian socio-cultural initiatives held in UAE", he added.
The Brain Hunt contest will be conducted zone-wise and 24 teams will be selected after elimination for the grand finale of Brian Hunt that will be conducted in the month of December. Six teams will contest in the finals on a show that will be telecasted on Kairali TV, a south Indian television channel, and will be viewed by more than 22 million people worldwide.
