Abu Dhabi’s Premier Hotel Management Group Confirms
(9 November 2009)
A proud home-grown brand, Cristal Hotels & Resorts, Hospitality Ambassadors for the Capital

Abu Dhabi’s premier hotel management group, Cristal Hotels & Resorts, has announced international expansion plans for the group following the success of their first hotel earlier this year. The announcement comes only months after its opening, in which capacity peaked at 100 percent shortly after.

In the heart of the business district, only a short drive from Abu Dhabi airport, Cristal Hotel is equipped with modern lifestyle technology and services, as well as, world-class rooms and suites, restaurants, a health club with personal trainers, indoor pool & Spa, business center and a selection of meeting rooms.

The hotel’s rooms are designed with a contemporary and luxurious feel, and include specially designed mattresses, interactive telephones, and free highspeed internet ensuring its business as usual for their guests.

“We are very interested in positioning Abu Dhabi as a global hospitality leader and support its tourism growth plans,” said Chairman, Mohamed Abdul Baki.

“Cristal is proud to be a home-grown brand. We view ourselves as the hospitality ambassadors for Abu Dhabi and our plans are to go global.”

With expansion plans in the pipeline including several properties, within Abu Dhabi, Dubai and outside of the Middle Eastern region, the group plans to ensure that the demand for quality business travel accommodation is well catered to.

“We are well aware that Abu Dhabi is expecting approximately 4,000 rooms to open up in the Emirate shortly but these past months have proven that quality business travel accommodation is in high demand.

With a strong management team and the experience to manage both wet and dry hotels, we are extremely confident that Cristal Hotels and Resorts’ future growth plans will not only boost the hospitality industry but also mirror Abu Dhabi’s capacity for success during challenging times,” said Chief Executive Officer, Peter Blackburn.
