Major General Obeid Al Kitbi, Deputy Commander of the Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Higher Security Committee for Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix is currently visiting Tokyo to draw lessons from the ongoing Japanese F1 Grand Prix 2009 being staged on Suzuka track.
Major General Al Kitbi, who is accompanied by a number of senior police officers, took a tour of the Japanese circuit and met commanders of police of the city organising the race.
The Japanese expressed their readiness to offer assistance and support for rendering the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix which will be held in November at the Yas Marina Circuit a success.
Al Kitbi thanked the Japanese officials for their cooperation and lauded progress the UAE-Japan friendly relations are making.
