JWS, the Abu Dhabi International Jewellery & Watch Show, renowned for its exquisite jewellery and watch collections, will take place October 14 -18, 2009, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The annual event, which will feature a host of luxury brands from more than 20 countries including Italy, USA, UK, Brazil and Lebanon, will be targeting end-consumers from across the GCC. JWS 2009 will have an Italian and Brazilian pavilion and to receive more than 120 exhibitors.
The International Jewellery & Watch Show will offer visitors a wide collection of the most sophisticated jewellery and watches from around the world. JWS represents an exclusive regional platform where visitors have the opportunity to evaluate and purchase the latest jewellery and watch collections within an exclusive, branded setting.
Ara Fernezian, Group Exhibition Director, Reed Exhibitions, said: “We are very proud to present the 17th JWS. Abu Dhabi is proving to be a magnet for leading global brands and we are confident that this year’s event will continue to attract strong interest from high-end jewelers and watch retailers, as well as customers”.
The show is expected to occupy 10,000 square meters and the organizers expect to attract more than 10,000 visitors from across the UAE and GCC. Leading exhibitors are Salem Al Shoueibi, the event’s main sponsor, as well as Mohammad Rasool Khoury, Al Masaoud, Amwaj, Dhamani, Moussaief from UK, Gemayel and Georges Hakim from Lebanon among others.
“As we are beginning to see green shoots in the economy, we are confident that this year’s JWS will build on the success of 2008, which was the first JWS edition that was under Reed’s management,” continued Fernezian.
The Jewellery and Watch show will represent an exclusive opportunity for visitors to discover the latest collections and designs coming into the market, allowing attendees the chance to purchase some of the finest pieces on offer globally, in addition to valuable prizes that will be offered during the show.
