The Al-Fahim & Sons Endowment has donated AED 1 million to the Dubai-based Dar el-Bir Society and the Ajman-based Human Appeal International (HAI) with each of the two organisations getting half of the amount.
The kind gesture is part of the philanthropic works and support by the Al-Fahim ’&’ Sons Endowment to charity organisations in the country to enable them discharge effectively their duties of reaching out to the poor and the distressed.
Isa Abdul Jalil Al-Fahim, Chief Executive of the Al-Fahim ’&’ Sons Endowment presented a cheque of AED500,000 to Dar el-Bir Society’s Deputy Director General, Saeed Al-Mazrue and another cheque of similar amount to HAI’s Representative, Mohammed Al-Awadhi, when he separately received the two officials at the premises of the Al-Fahim ’&’ Sons Endowment.
Al-Fahim called for close cooperation between the two organisations and his outfit to enable them review together and collaborate in the projects and humanitarian assistance being undertaken by the two organisations.
