Department of Health—Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, is set to participate at Arab Health 2019, the largest medical exhibition in the Middle East taking place in Dubai World Centre from 28 to 31 January. DoH’s participation at Arab Health 2019 will see it unveil its latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives, showcasing the imperative connection between AI and the healthcare sector.
Committed to positioning Abu Dhabi as a hub for AI and innovation in healthcare globally, DoH is on track to transform the way healthcare is delivered in the Emirate to further enhance patients’ healthcare journey.
DoH’s participation this year will see it launch a series of cutting edge initiatives with the aim to spearhead the fusion of healthcare and technology in Abu Dhabi. This step complements its continuous efforts in further augmenting the healthcare sector to deliver exceptional quality of healthcare services for citizens and residents in Abu Dhabi.

Arab Health 2019 will see the participation of over 4,150 companies participating from 166 countries. Visitors at the DoH pavilion will be able to learn more about the latest programs and initiatives launched by the healthcare sector in the Emirate, and step into an immersive journey featuring several interactive AI experiences.
