Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, attended the graduation ceremony of 405 students in the 12th batch of the Emirates National Schools.
Named the "Year of Tolerance Batch" of 2018-2019 school year, they graduated from the campuses in Abu Dhabi, Mohamed bin Zayed City, Al Ain, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
The event was also witnessed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Executive Director of the Martyrs’ Families’ Affairs Office of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan; Dr. Ahmad bin Abdullah Humaid Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills; and Ahmed Mohammed Al Humairi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
A statement marking the celebration was made on behalf of H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, under whose patronage the event was held. The statement said the new batch of graduates are new additions to the legacy of the Emirates National Schools, which is a world-class educational institution that prepares students who are proud of their national identity and civilised heritage.
Al Humairi stressed that the patronage of Sheikh Mansour has made the Emirates National Schools a model educational institution in the country.
Dr. Kenneth Vedra, Director-General of the Emirates National Schools, in his speech at the ceremony, expressed his pride and happiness in the achievements of the Emirates National Schools this year and in graduation of the students who are among the11,800 students of its various campuses.
