Abu Dhabi City Municipality has briefed the Department of Energy on the consultancy offices and contracting companies classification mechanism, along with the requirements of the classification processes.
During their meeting, a delegation from the Department of Energy visited Abu Dhabi City Municipality. The visit reflects the keenness of both sides to make benchmarking visits and emulate successful experiences of both parties in the best interest of the community. The visit was also intended to uplift performance, enhance the quality of life and support sustainable development in Abu Dhabi.
The Classification and Occupations Register Division at Abu Dhabi City Municipality reviewed the classification mechanisms for contractors and consultants, as well as mechanisms for the engineers register, as per the laws in force and initiatives adopted for the digital transformation in classification services and engineers register.
The two sides also reviewed standardising classification procedures and implementing electronic links between the Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities and the Department of Energy, to raise the bar on performance, achieve the highest customer satisfaction levels and adopt the best practices.
They also highlighted the importance of boosting cooperative ties and scheduling benchmark visits to review the successful experiences and techniques used in serving customers and the community.
