Emirates World Mobile Hospital invites volunteering doctors, surgeons

Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital, has opened door for volunteering UAE national medical cadres at the UAE public and private hospitals to work in its first phase in South Sudan from mid July.

Elite of doctors and surgeons from top world teaching hospitals will take part to provide curative, surgical, training and preventive medical services to the needy categories, particularly children.

UAE National Heart Surgeon and Chief Executive of the Zayed Charity Initiative and Executive Director of Emirates World Humanitarian Mobile Hospital Dr. Adel Al Shameri, said that "the opening of voluntary registration aims at giving chance to UAE national cadres to take part in humanitarian task to serve the needy categories in line with high sense of social responsibility towards those in need." He added that the initiative would enable the local cadres whether administrators, doctors or nurses to participate to ease suffering on the needy in line with the instructions of HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and follow up from HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of Ruler in Western Region and Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority.
