“We were thrilled to see the success of the Ladies Dash in 2017 and are very excited to see how this unique event can grow in the future. I am particularly passionate about offering more opportunity to ladies, both at the Ladies Dash and throughout the year so girls and ladies can exercise in a private environment they are comfortable with. We have opened the event to girls over 13 this year to allow mothers and daughters to enter together to create a fun environment for the family. We feel very honoured to have such great support from our partners and believe this is a reflection of the importance for community sports in the region and in our ultimate goal of building a healthier, more active generation.” Commented Sally Corander, Founder of The Dash Series and MD of INTERACT
“Working closely with our communities is the cornerstone of our philosophy. NMC is excited at this association and we look forward to a day of health and happiness all around, more-so-over since sports build character and is an effective tool to group bonding and team building.”, said Prasanth Manghat, CEO and Executive Director, NMC Health Plc.
Bayna Al Awani, Chief Innovation Officer at National Health Insurance Company – Daman commented; “We are very pleased to see the Ladies Dash return for a second event after last year’s remarkable success. Daman has been a long-term supporter of women’s sports and this is another important piece in the jigsaw of realising our goal to create healthier communities across the country. Women-only events in particular ensure maximum accessibility for all women in our society. I sincerely hope that women participating in this event take up running or walking as part of their daily or weekly routines, as both are easy to do, considering the beautiful gardens around the city and the weather at this time of year. Daman’s ActiveLife GoYAS and iTrainSaturdays are weekly events that women attending the Dash can participate in as part of their journey towards physical fitness.”
