The total amount of water collected in the lakes of 23 dams of the Ministry of Energy and Industry amounted to 2,594,115 cubic meters as a result of good amount of rain that last for the period from 24 February to 3 March 2018 in different parts of the country.
The rain led to the flowing of a number of valleys in the Eastern, Northern and Central regions, and the water collected in a number of dams supervised by the Ministry of Energy and Industry.
During the follow-up of the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the rain situation, a number of dams of the Eastern, Central and Northern regions recorded some amount of water pools in their lakes. The total amount of water collected in the lakes of five dams of the Ministry of Energy and Industry amounted to 605775 cubic meters due to good rainfall on Monday 26 February 2018 on different parts of the country.
The water collected at Al Qor Dam reached 4.8 meters and the collected water volume was 491,790 m3. The water collected also at Al-Khorus dam at a height of 2.75 meters. The collected water volume was 31,320 m3. The water in the Rabqa Dam was also 0.5 meters high, and the collected water was 7,815 cubic meters in the Central region.
The water collected at Ramth Dam reached 1.4 meters high, and the collected water volume was 71,400 cubic meters. In addition, the water in Hamad A was 1.2 meters high and the collected water volume was 3,450 cubic meters in the Eastern region.
While the total amount of water collected in the lakes of 18 dams, supervised by the Ministry of Energy and Industry, was about 1,988,340 cubic meters as a result of good rainfall on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 on different parts of the country.
In the Northern region, the water collected at Al-Tuwaiyin dam with a height of 5.5 meters. The collected water volume attained 1,833,333 m3. The water collected in Naheela Dam with a height of 4.5 meters. The collected water volume was 20,000 m3. The water in Al-‘Aim dam was also increased by 2.8 meters. In addition, the water collected in Al Ghail Dam 4 with an increase of 1.0 meters, while the volume of collected water was 422 cubic meters. The water in Al Ghail 2 dam also raised by 2.5 meters, and the collected water volume was 3,588 cubic meters. The water in Al Daoudi Dam was 0.5 meters high, and the water volume reached 2,571 meters Cube, as well as collected water in the dam koob 4 at an altitude of 1.0 m and the volume of collected water was 7,142 m3. Moreover, there was also water collected in the low places of the Lake of the dam Edhen.
In the Eastern area, the collected water in Haam Dam reached 3.1 meters and the volume of collected water was 31,373 cubic meters. The water in Sakamkam dam was 0.9 meters high and the water volume reached 9,390 cubic meters. As well, the water gathered at the sakamkam 2 barrier attained a height of 2.6 meters. The collected water volume was 10,592 cubic meters. The water collected at Sakamkam 5 was 0.8 meters high, and the collected water volume got 10,794 cubic meters. AOther the water collected at Sakamkam 3 dam with a height of 0.12 meters, while the water collected at 13,000 cubic meters, as well as the water collected in Al-Aim Dam, with an increase of 2.5 meters and the collected water volume was 32,352 cubic meters. The water in Al-Aim Lake was 0.85 meters high, and The collected water volume was 3,642 cubic meters, as well as collected water in places Lower than the Lake Ham dam as well as in the Lake of Hail Dam.
The Ministry of Energy and Industry ask the valleys and dams visitors to take much precaution and to follow the safety guidelines put for their safety and happiness, and to preserve the good condition of the dam facilities.
