Yas Mall, the largest mall in Abu Dhabi, will celebrate the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) 46th National Day with a dazzling array of traditional Emirati activities and entertainment. Marking the transition to the 2018 Year of Zayed, Yas Mall will also host a captivating exhibition, 'The Unity of the Emirates Story', showcasing the legacy of the UAE's Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in partnership with the National Archive.

A first for a mall in the region, Yas Mall has partnered with the National Archive to bring 'The Unity of the Emirates Story' exhibition to Abu Dhabi, in preparation for next year's 2018 Year of Zayed. At Yas Mall, visitors will have access to a unique collection of rare, never-seen-before footage on the formation of the UAE. This will include photos of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was the principal driving force behind the formation of the UAE and first President of the United Arab Emirates.

Similarly paying homage to the UAE's rich cultural heritage, on 1-2 December from 12:00pm – 12:00am, Yas Mall's celebrations will include remarkable live Emirati stage performances including mesmerizing Ayala dancers, an impressive UAE Musical Band and a Police Marching Band. To surprise shoppers and bring a smile to every visitor's face, there will be roaming entertainment over the weekend throughout Yas Mall.

As the leading retailer hub for Yas Island, Yas Mall will be decorated with the colours of the UAE flag, bringing the wider community of tourists and residents together to enjoy this special occasion. To the delight of all, Yas Mall will also be gifting visitors UAE flag-themed giveaways.  Of course, the celebrations would not be complete without Yas Mall's henna and face-painting station and the famous Emirati hospitality of Yas Mall's traditional tent offering Arabic coffee and dates.

In addition to great entertainment, Cascade Dining will offer the most appetizing UAE cuisine including Al Fanar, which provides a truly authentic Emirati meal, while restaurants Dish Dash, Studio Masr, Nar and Hatam, expertly fuse Middle Eastern dishes, so that families and friends can celebrate National Day in style with a fabulous dining and entertainment experience.
