Under the Vision 2021, building a competitive knowledge economy is one of the six pillars of the National Agenda under which Emiratisation falls. Emiratisation, the name of the nationwide programme launched nearly a decade ago to effectively assimilate the UAE national workforce into the labour market, is a key priority of government, semi-government and private sector organizations in the UAE.
