Sorouh Real Estate PJSC, one of Abu Dhabi’s leading real estate developers and a lead sponsor of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), today welcomed the news that the 2009 show will welcome the first Middle East performance of The Household Cavalry Musical Ride.
The Household Cavalry have been invited to ADIHEX by ADACH, the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, to give a performance of the Musical Ride, a cavalry drill set to music which combines skilled military riding and ceremonial splendour, and demonstrates a high level of horsemanship throughout.
The appearance of the Household Cavalry at ADIHEX, which runs from 30 September to 3 October 2009 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, was confirmed today at a press conference in London.
Abubaker Al Khouri, Managing Director of Sorouh said:“Sorouh is a keen supporter of initiatives that enrich the lives of local people in Abu Dhabi and in particular, that has meant a close involvement with equestrian events, including Purebred Arabian flat-racing, Endurance and Show-Jumping events and tournaments, and horse races in France, Germany and Holland.
“ADIHEX is one of the most exciting events and one in which we are especially proud to be involved. The event is a fantastic international showcase of the passion that the people of Abu Dhabi bring to these sports.”
Sorouh is one of Abu Dhabi’s leading real estate developers, with many different projects which are part of the future development of the city and of the wider Emirate.
Its projects include SHAMS Abu Dhabi on Reem Island, which will be home to more than 50,000 people, as well as the new town of alghadeer and what will become a true landmark in Abu Dhabi, Lulu Island.
