Yas Marina Circuit and FLASH Entertainment today announced the final artist set to play the Yasalam After-Race Concerts.

Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist Kendrick Lamar was confirmed as the headline artist playing the du Arena on Friday 24thNovember, completing a full four-day line-up of world-class entertainment at the 2017 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX.

Lamar will join the internationally-renowned DJ Calvin Harris playing Thursday 23rd November, UK-based rockers Mumford & Sons playing Saturday 25th November, with global icon P!NK closing out the weekend on Sunday 26th November.

A California native, Lamar has received a number of accolades over the course of his career, including seven Grammy Awards. He embarked on his musical journey as a teenager under the stage name K-Dot, and quickly gained recognition in 2011 following the release of Section 80.

In early 2013, MTV named Lamar the number one Hottest MC in the Game, on their annual list. Time named Lamar one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016. Additionally, Lamar is part of Top Dawg Entertainment; the West Coast collective that includes label mates Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, SZA and Isaiah Rashad.

The announcement was made as organisers also revealed that an extra 1,000 three-day tickets for Abu Dhabi Hill will be available for purchase. Starting at AED 995 the ticket provides ticket holders access to Thursday Pit Lane Walk, all four days of racing as well as all four days of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts. Yas Marina Circuit urges people to buy quickly as this is a limited offer of a popular ticket category.

For those wishing to upgrade their race weekend experience, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 'Golden Circle' Upgrades are still available for the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, starting from AED 195. Offering a best access experience to the star-studded concerts, the upgrades are available to buy now at www.yasmarinacircuit.com, however, race goers need to act fast to enjoy this unique offer.

For families, GP Parks Pass allows unlimited access to Yas Waterworld & Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Kids GO FREE Friday, allows adult three-day Grandstand ticket holders to bring up to four children under 12 to the event.

The four-day Yasalam After-Race Concerts line-up is part of the city-wide Yasalam festival. Now in its ninth year, Yasalam (#Yasalam2017) forms a programme that unites Abu Dhabi in excitement and celebration and is one of the most highly anticipated and globally renowned festivals run by any race host city in the world. The festival includes weeks of activations, and to date has created incredible memories for over 2.5 million people.
