Abu Dhabi residents will be delighted with an exciting sports event this weekend; the UAE Water Bike Marathon which is set to kick off tomorrow, with all the Emirate's residents invited to enjoy the carnival which will witness heated competitions on Al Lulu Island, and Abu Dhabi Corniche. 

The race is organised under the patronage of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, Chairman of Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, and the follow-up of Sheikh Mohamed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Club Deputy Chairman and Executive Director. 

Registration is open until tomorrow morning in the festival which is expected to see reputable racers vying for the title in its maiden edition and how they will make their way to the top. 

Al Lulu Island is a 1,050-acre man-made island off the coast of Abu Dhabi island.
