Visitors to The Dubai Mall can take part in an innovative auction to win an Apple Combo comprising an Apple Mac Book, iPhone and iPod Touch. Courtesy of Sharaf DG, the combo is offered as part of the Bid 2 Win event of the Festival@The Dubai Mall.

The Apple Combo is priced AED 14,498 but bidding opens at a mere AED 1. Visitors only have to check the product code at the display at the Grand Atrium of the mall and SMS it to 4363 after registering to take part in the bid at the same number.

The bidding will continue till 9pm and bidders will be informed in real time on the overall bid status, allowing them to bid higher. Live updates will also be displayed in multimedia screens across the shopping mall.

“Bid 2 Win is one of the key attractions of the festival and will be held on Fridays and Saturdays,” said Mr Nasser Rafi, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Malls Group. “We are pleased to offer the opportunity for a large cross-section of visitors to the mall to participate in an exciting in-mall retail experience.”

The Festival@The Dubai Mall also features a Grand Bentley raffle draw, bargain deals, daily shopping-linked draws and colorful in-mall entertainment.

The month-long event is supported by Dubai Media Inc, Arab Media Group and The Address Hotels + Resorts, a part of the Emaar Hospitality Group. Dubai Shopping Festival Office offers strategic support including executing the various retail and entertainment activities.
