The Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) recently organized a student visit to “SENSE”, an exhibition by five International Baccalaureate senior art students, at the Ghaf Art Gallery. This visit is part of ADMAF’s educational mission to cultivate artistic talents, develop abilities to critique art, stimulate interest and inspire creativity among national and international students of Abu Dhabi.
The visiting students from Zayed University had the opportunity to see student artworks and share their perceptions on their experience. They met the five student artists, Sophie, Erin, Nicolas, Saif and Emma (SENSE) from the American Community School of Abu Dhabi whom were thrilled to explain their works of art, see the reactions and listen to the feedback.
“SENSE” is part of the Senior Art Exhibition, an annual event at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi. The show presents a wide array of studio work, showcasing personal growth as artists and individual exploration of the visual arts within other cultural contexts. Under the Patronage of the Honorable Richard G. Olson, Ambassador of the United States of America to the United Arab Emirates it runs from 19 – 26 April at the Ghaf Art Gallery.
