From captivating dialogue to educational workshops, the Majlis: Interactive Conversations programme at the second edition of the Mother of the Nation Festival is set to showcase the diversity of elements and themes that have popularised the festival since its inauguration.
Organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and opening on Abu Dhabi Corniche from 26th March to 4th April 2017, Mother of the Nation Festival will this year host the Majlis: Interactive Conversations, a new platform of talks, presentations, workshops and discussions connecting the values of women empowerment while promoting education and tolerance, and inspiring younger generations to express themselves creatively without limitations.
Celebrating H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak’s inspirational values and contributions to UAE society, the extensive daily Majlis programme will cover various topics, including wellness, sustainable fashion, nutritional and eating habits, lifestyle, and organic living among others, providing visitors with key learning aspects from industry experts and Emirati and regional female role models.
Embodying the values of courage, humility, sustainability and happiness, the Majlis: Interactive Conversations programme will reflect the role that mothers and families play in promoting a culture of shared community, showcasing ongoing efforts to preserve the authentic values and traditions of Emirati culture while embracing a multitude of others.
Presented and led by leading women entrepreneurs and industry specialists, the talks will cover topics from different fields of life. In a keynote session, world-renowned clinical psychologist Dr. Shefali Tsabary will explain the fundamentals of conscious parenting and why it is pivotal in today’s world. The session will be followed by a book signing and audience meet and greet.
