His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development visited the Mother of the Nation Festival taking place in the UAE capital yesterday, Wednesday evening.

During the tour of the Festival accompanied by Saif Saeed Ghobash, Director General of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, he expressed great appreciation of the Festival’s spirit and liveliness, and interacted with festival-goers who conveyed their excitement on being a part of this remarkable tribute to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak. H.E. Sheikh Nahyan also took special interest in visiting the Mother of the Nation Pavilion and attended a Majlis: Interactive Conversations session.

The Mother of the Nation Festival sheds light on the vision and inspirational values of H.H. Sheikha Fatima through a distinct selection of innovative activities, live performances and intellectual discussions promoting the importance of family coherence as well as nurturing cultural understanding within the UAE society.
