In honor of Earth Day on April 22nd, International Capital Trading (ICT) has signed a deal with AW Rostamani Lumina and Adeeb Group for a retrofit using eco-friendly lighting solutions in Abu Dhabi’s Nation Towers as of April 25th.
Aligned with the announcement by HH Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to switch to environmentally friendly lighting, the project led by AW Rostamani sees the Nation Towers become the first location in Abu Dhabi to switch to eco-friendly lighting solutions.
“We are pleased to have signed on for this project with Adeeb Group to provide not only eco-friendly lighting solutions for ICT, but also quality lighting provided by General Electric (GE). AW Rostamani Lumina is the sole distributor of GE lighting in the UAE, and hope this project will be the first of many in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. We hope the newly fitted out Nation Towers will give a breath of life to the numerous people that regularly visit the Nation Towers” said, Umar Khan, Chief Executive Officer, AW Rostamani Lumina.

The signing of the deal, just in time for Earth Day on April 22nd, reiterates the strong position the UAE government and UAE based companies hold when it comes to environmental issues and climate change. The Nation Towers fit out project will aim to be the catalyst for more projects to help accelerate the UAE's vision for Sustainable Environment and Infrastructure.

We aim to achieve this by focusing on energy saving, reducing carbon footprint and by consuming less power. The strength, credibility and expertise represented by GE and our FM partners helped us in making this timely switch. Subsequently we will be focusing on scaling this effort across ICT portfolio."
