Opera Verdi Europe is showing great interest in composing the staggering achievements of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his biography into an opera similar to those world known masterpieces.
The idea was presented by Ivan Kyurkchiev, Director of Opera Verdi Europa, to H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister during a meeting yesterday.
According to Kyurkchiev, the international community knows very well what Sheikh Zayed has achieved for his nation and people.
The work, he said, will chronicle the life achievements of Sheikh Zayed and trace down the evolution of the UAE federation from dream to reality.
He said Sheikh Sultan had shown enthusiasm for the idea and promised to turn it into a successful work.
He said that he had visited the Sheikh Zayed Centre and watched through photos his achievements.
