In its ninth year of operations, FLASH set a precedent in 2016 with:
Executed events in more than 10 locations across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Beirut
Reached an apex of attendance with 240,130 people
Superseded star power with 26 artists performing

“Numbers are great as they speak volumes about our company and what we have delivered. They tell a strong story about all the successful events we did in 2016 that are multi-genre and appeal to a large variety of audiences. It was also a year of ‘firsts’ with shows that had never been witnessed in the region,” John Lickrish, CEO, FLASH Entertainment.
The 2016 event roster included sold out events like Russell Peters, Disney in Concert: Frozen, Andrea Bocelli, Yanni, Kevin Hart, the Winter Carnival and drawing the year to a memorable close with the Coldplay concert.
It also included the ever popular educational, sporting and cultural events, like: Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, Abu Dhabi Science Festival, Abu Dhabi Summer Season, Live Science, Innovator Show, Mother of the Nation and the Abu Dhabi World Tennis Championship. The unforgettable entertainment and community Yasalam festival returned for the eighth year with record-breaking attendance and left a lasting impression in the hearts and minds of fans.
So, what’s new for 2017? Lickrish commented: “We like to keep some surprises for our customers and fans, so more unmissable events will be added as the year progresses but this line up provides a flavor of what’s in the offing.”
