United Printing and Publishing (UPP), the wholly-owned printing subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media Company, announces an ISO upgrade following a recent audit by ISO representatives. The upgrades are for UPP’s Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHAS).
Commenting on the recognition for quality in printing services, Ali Saif Al Neaimi, General Manger of UPP, said: “We are proud to announce that after an audit by the representatives of ISO, we have been successfully upgraded to ISO 9001:2008, 140001:2004 and 18001:2007 as of 12 April 2009.
“ISO standards are very stringent and the upgrade demonstrates UPP’s commitment to quality, protecting the environment and the health and safety of our employees. Our team work hard to ensure we continue to deliver the highest quality, international standard in printing services and this is a great endorsement of the work we do.”
