Organisers Dome Exhibitions and Euroexpo have announced that preparations are complete at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) to host the inaugural editions of Climate Abu Dhabi, an exhibition dedicated to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) industry, and the Abu Dhabi Hardware Show, Abu Dhabi’s first specialised tools and hardware exhibition targeted at vendors, suppliers and manufacturers. The collocated events will run from 3-5 October 2016.
Aimed at initiating dialogue about the new range of eco-friendly products and solutions available within the climate and cold chain sector, Climate Abu Dhabi 2016 is the latest initiative by the emirate of Abu Dhabi to highlight energy efficiency and environment sustainability. Revolving around three themes of indoor climate (HVAC), process cooling and cold chain technology, the exhibition will spotlight cutting-edge innovations that make a difference in achieving energy efficiency, indoor air quality, food safety and connectivity.
The inaugural edition of Climate Abu Dhabi is anticipated to draw the participation of over 5,000 industry specialists as well as high-level decision makers and experts from world-leading industry associations including Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturers’ Association (ISKID) in Turkey and Eurovent, Europe’s leading industry association for Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, and Food Cold Chain Technologies.
Dony Cyril, Director of Exhibitions at Dome Exhibitions said: “The market for energy-efficient HVACR technologies is growing at an unprecedented pace across the region due to surging environmental concerns about increasing energy consumption, as well as the stringent environmental standards adopted by regulatory agencies in the past several months. This trend is set to continue driven by strong economic growth and rapid urbanisation. In convening Climate Abu Dhabi, we seek to address these challenges through creating a platform focused on energy-efficient HVACR solutions that brings substantial benefits to the region in terms of lower operating costs and better indoor air quality.”
Running concurrently with Climate Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Hardware Show will cater to a wide range of industrial requirements including building hardware, industrial hardware, home-wares, DIY and gardening tools, safety tools and lighting equipment. The exhibition is set to convene more than 6,000 visitors and industry professionals from the UAE and other GCC countries including Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain.
Omar Mudassar, Marketing Manager at Dome Exhibitions said: “Hardware is one the fastest growing manufacturing-led sectors in the UAE driven by the country’s robust industrial sector. With global manufacturers looking to expand their manufacturing base in the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Hardware Show is set to create new avenues for manufacturers, vendors, suppliers to showcase their innovative products and gain a better understanding of the available and potential market opportunities.”
The Abu Dhabi Hardware Show has attracted the leading names in the industry including German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK), German Tool Manufactures Association (FWI), Robert Bosch, Stanley, Black & Decker, Dewalt, KNIPEX-Werk Wuppertal and Weicon.
